Where academics and well-being grow together.
Both, not either.
Schools are asked to raise achievement and support students, then handed a program that treats the two as separate jobs. We think that is backwards. Give wellness equal footing with academics and it stops being a stand-alone initiative. Instead, it shows up in how teachers teach, how behavior is handled, how families are engaged, how leaders lead, and in the academic results the school can produce.
The name is the argument.
Social Wellness is SoWell
We do not treat student wellness as separate from academic performance, or as something schools push to one team to handle. In our experience, the two move together. When academics and wellness are built as one foundation, every other system in the building rests on something that can hold. And sustain.
Where we do our deepest work
Engagements are scoped to your context, but the work almost always sits in one of these areas.
Academics & SEL Integration
Click to revealOne coherent experience instead of two competing priorities. We connect instructional expectations with social emotional practice so teachers stop choosing between them.
Student Support & Behavior
Click to revealPractices that hold for students and staff alike: climate systems, restorative response, and adult routines that keep a building steady on its hardest days.
Operations
Click to revealBudgets, staffing models, leadership relationships, day-to-day procedures, and the operational systems that decide whether a good academic plan is actually affordable.
Adult Wellness
Click to revealThe adults in the building carry the culture. We examine workload, calendar realities, clarify roles and decisions, build time for connection, and coach leaders to notice strain before it becomes turnover.
